The OPzS2 follows the internationally mainstream OPzS technology: positive plates are tubular grids cast from low-antimony alloy, negative plates use lead-calcium alloy, and the electrolyte is high-purity, low-density dilute sulfuric acid (flooded). The tubular positive plates wrap the active material inside corrosion-resistant tubes, delivering long life and excellent cycling performance; the transparent container makes electrolyte level and plate condition clearly visible, facilitating regular water refills and maintenance — a classic, economical solution for medium and large DC backup power.

OPzS2 is a flooded battery. Check the electrolyte level and density periodically as per the manual, add deionized water as needed, and keep the battery room well ventilated. The transparent container makes inspection easy; with correct charging parameters, its 20+ year design life can be fully utilized.
Reference charging parameters: float voltage 2.23V (25℃), temperature compensation -3mV/℃, equalize voltage 2.35V, cycle charging 2.40–2.45V, max charging current 0.20C10A. Use a charger that meets the specification and avoid overcharging or undercharging.
