Solar PV modules generate electricity whenever they are exposed to sunlight, so the power supply cannot be switched off during daylight hours. Because of the accumulated series voltage, the voltage to ground can also be very high. Therefore, installation must be carried out strictly in accordance with the installation and operation manual provided by the system supplier and performed by professional installers. All wiring connections use professional connectors with an IP65 protection rating, and all electrical equipment is protected by air circuit breakers, which prevents leakage current from harming people. In addition, take protective measures during rain and snow. The specific requirements are as follows:
1) When installing modules, use insulated tools and do not wear metal jewelry;
2) Do not disconnect electrical connections while under load;
3) Keep connectors dry and clean. Do not insert other metal objects into the connectors or make electrical connections in any other way;
4) Do not touch or operate PV modules with broken glass, detached frames or damaged backsheets unless the modules are disconnected and you are wearing personal protective equipment;
5) Do not touch modules when they are wet, except when cleaning them in accordance with the module cleaning manual.
Never touch wet connectors without personal protective equipment or rubber gloves.
