How to Tell If You Are Using Grid Power or Your Own Solar Power?

After the distributed PV system is installed, the grid company will carry out the grid-connection acceptance inspection. After passing the inspection, two electricity meters will be installed at the owner home, which separately measure the electricity generated by the PV system and the electricity fed into the grid. The simplest way to distinguish is to look at the meters: as long as the meter on the PV system side is running, you are using electricity generated by your own solar modules, as shown in the figure.
