Can Distributed PV Systems Be Installed on Greenhouses and Ponds?

The heating and heat preservation of greenhouses has always been a key problem for farmers. The PV agricultural greenhouse is expected to solve this problem. Due to the high summer temperatures, many kinds of vegetables cannot grow normally from June to September, but the PV agricultural greenhouse, like adding a spectroscope to the outside of the greenhouse, can block infrared rays and prevent excessive heat from entering the greenhouse; in winter and at night, it can also prevent infrared light inside the greenhouse from radiating outward, slowing the nighttime temperature drop and providing insulation. The PV agricultural greenhouse can supply the electricity needed for lighting inside the greenhouse, and the surplus electricity can be fed into the grid. In an off-grid PV agricultural greenhouse, it can be coordinated with an LED system: during the day, the PV modules shade to protect plant growth while generating electricity; at night, the LED system uses the electricity generated during the day to provide lighting.

PV arrays can also be installed over fish ponds. The ponds can continue to be used for fish farming, and the PV arrays can provide good shading for the fish, better resolving the conflict between developing new energy and occupying large amounts of land. Therefore, agricultural greenhouses and fish ponds can install distributed PV power generation systems.
