Depending on whether the user applies directly to the bank, loan models for distributed PV projects can be divided into the direct loan model and the unified borrowing and repayment model. Distributed PV investors who meet the requirements of the bank for direct loan applications can apply directly for bank loan support.
Enterprises and individuals who do not qualify for direct loans are generally supported through the unified borrowing and repayment model. For example, China Development Bank plans to establish a unified borrowing platform with borrowing qualifications and lending capacity, extend credit to the platform, and then provide loans to users through entrusted lending, possibly via commercial banks. Users can submit loan applications to their local bank or to the unified borrowing platform based on their own circumstances.
